Job summary

Florida Silt Fencing is seeking dependable Laborers to join our Ground Crew for full-time outdoor erosion-control projects across the region. You will report to the Foreman and support daily field operations, including staging, loading, and installing silt fencing and turbidity curtains.

The role requires wearing PPE, adhering to site safety rules, and possible travel throughout Florida. Work starts at the Eustis, FL area and moves to job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be physically able to perform outdoor labor and operate common hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Report to the yard or job site on time. Wear proper PPE and carry site credentials.
• Assist with loading tools and materials each morning.
• Help perform daily vehicle and equipment safety checks.
• Follow Foreman instructions on scope of work and safety.
• Install silt fencing, turbidity curtains, and erosion-control products.
• Hand dig and backfill when required by site conditions.
• Keep work areas clean and return tools and materials to the truck.
• Ensure vehicles and equipment are cleaned and stored after use.
• Possible travel throughout Florida and surrounding area.

Florida Silt Fencing is looking for dependable Laborers to join our Ground Crew. This is a full-time, outdoor position working on erosion control projects throughout the area. Laborers report directly to the Foreman and support daily field operations including staging, pulling, setting, and hammering silt fencing, as well as installing turbidity curtains and straw wattles. Crew starts the day at our site in the Eustis, FL area

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Report to the company yard or assigned job site on time each day.
• Wear proper PPE and bring any required identification or site credentials.
• Assist with loading tools and materials each morning.
• Help perform daily vehicle and equipment safety checks.
• Follow instructions from the Foreman regarding scope of work and site safety.
• Install silt fencing, turbidity curtains, and other erosion control products.
• Hand dig and backfill when required by site conditions.
• Keep work areas clean, remove debris, and return all tools and materials to the truck.
• Ensure company vehicles and equipment are cleaned and properly stored after use.
• Follow all company policies and job site safety rules.
• Possible travel throughout Florida and surrounding area
