The position offers a starting wage of $18.00 per hour, with overtime opportunities and per diem when travel is required. Hotel accommodations are provided for travel, and a 3% 401(k) company match after 90 days.

North Florida Emulsions, Inc. is seeking a dependable, hardworking General Laborer to join our growing team. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in doing quality work, and are willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor duties on roadway maintenance and construction projects.
• Assist crews with loading and unloading materials and equipment.
• Operate hand tools and assist with various job site tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures.
• Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand, bend, and work for extended periods.
• Construction or road maintenance experience is a plus but not required—we are willing to train the right person.

Schedule

• Variable hours averaging approximately 30 hours per week.
• Overtime opportunities are available during busy seasons.
• Some projects require travel throughout Florida and may require staying away from home for up to one week at a time.
• Hotel accommodations, work-related travel expenses, and per diem are provided by the company.
