Job summary

Greif in Wisconsin is seeking a General Labor team member to perform routine activities at the plant under direct supervision. You will prepare job sites, transport materials, operate power tools, build temporary structures, and collaborate with other workers to ensure safety and efficiency.

Typical duties include cleaning and maintaining equipment, following directions to operate machinery, performing routine quality checks, and reporting issues to supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Routinely clean and lubricate equipment, maintain a manufacturing area free from debris and dirt, ready or put away tools as assigned.
• Closely follows directions to operate machinery, hold or supply routine materials and tools, and load or unload items on machinery and assembly lines.
• Performs routine property care activities.
• Performs any non-technical routine tasks at the plant.
• Routine quality checks on finished products.
• Reports any issues to supervisor or higher-level colleague.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Description:
ROLE OVERVIEW:
Under direct supervision, performs a variety of routine activities including, but not limited to preparing job sites, ensuring safety conditions, transporting materials, using power tools and other equipment, building temporary structures, and collaborating with other plant workers.

Compensation Range

The pay for this position is $18.00 per hour. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
