Jobtailor in Pineville, NC is seeking a dependable manufacturing associate to stack cases from conveyors, palletize finished goods, and perform quality checks on cartons. Responsibilities

• Assist feeder/packers and during breaks.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Stacks cases from conveyor for finished goods
• Understands and aligns business operations and the Department to exceed customer expectations
• Picks up cartons from conveyor and stacks onto pallets
• Checks cartons for quality
• Stretch wraps pallets for finished goods inventory
• Prints and places load tickets on each case/pallet
• Assists Feeder/Packers
• Assists during breaks
• Hand packs into corrugated cases
• Manual sorting for defective jobs
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Manufacturing experience required
• Excellent attendance
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
