Job summary

Welch Packaging is seeking a production team member to operate in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will follow safety procedures, ensure products meet specifications, and contribute to timely deliveries while maintaining clean and organized work areas.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds. Prior manufacturing experience is valued, and the environment may require standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper safety procedures and processes.
• Ensure the product built is to spec and 100% accurate.
• Maintain high productivity to ensure 100% on-time delivery to customers.
• Maintain housekeeping standards of the plant.
• Work as a team with all facility members.
• Assist in assembling, stacking, wrapping, stapling, gluing, stickering, and taping boxes.

Work in a production environment following all safety procedures, quality processes and hitting our targeted build rates.

Essential Functions

• Follow proper safety procedures and processes
• Responsible for ensuring the product being built is built to spec and 100% accurate
• Responsible for maintaining the highest level of productivity to ensure 100% on time delivery to our customers.
• Responsible for maintaining the housekeeping standards of the plant
• Responsible for working as a team with all team members of the facility.
• Day to day responsibilities may include some or all of the following assembling, stacking, wrapping, stapling, gluing, stickering, and taping boxes.

Requirements/Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience

• 1+ years in a manufacturing/production environment
• Ability to work safely adhering to all safety processes and policies.
