Role Overview

Under direct supervision, the role performs entry‑level routine activities associated with assembly machine operation and setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate routine production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications provided.
• Carry out routine activities that produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
• Measure finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
• Maintain logs and records of units produced.
• Report any errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
• Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; perform basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and up to 2 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge and Skills

• Willingness to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machinery.
• Fundamental understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $19.33 to $30.87 annually. The starting rate is the same for all applicants and may vary based on market data and other factors such as job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
