Job summary

Wheatland Steel Processing Company is seeking motivated General Laborers to join our production team. You will support multiple areas including slitting, stamping, leveling, laser cutting, metal cutting, fabrication, and material handling. No prior experience is required as we provide training.

You will perform hands-on work across departments to ensure high-quality output, safe operations, and on-time delivery to customers. Flexibility and strong work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• No experience required - we will train.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for long periods.
• Ability to work safely around machinery and in a team environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup, operation, and cleanup of machinery such as slitters, stamping presses, lasers, and CNC equipment.
• Load and unload material for processing.
• Move product and raw material safely throughout the facility using forklifts and cranes (training provided).
• Perform basic quality checks on parts (visual inspections, measurements).
• Package, label, and prepare finished goods for shipment.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Support equipment maintenance and other tasks as needed.
• Work collaboratively with operators, maintenance, and supervisors to meet production goals.
• Cross-train in multiple departments to support varying production demands.
