Laborup is hiring Factory Workers / General Laborers for a large New Jersey manufacturing facility in Morristown. This is a hands-on, full-time role with opportunities to grow into more technical positions, including forklift operation and equipment setup.

Day and night shifts are available, with 12-hour schedules and built-in overtime. Benefits and direct-hire employment are available from day one for reliable, hardworking individuals willing to learn and advance with the company.

Overview

We're hiring Factory Workers / General Laborers for a large, established manufacturing facility.

This is a great opportunity for hardworking individuals who enjoy hands-on work and want to build a long-term career in manufacturing. The day-to-day work is physical, active, and fast-paced, involving the assembly, handling, inspection, and packaging of manufactured products. You'll work with tools and equipment, handle materials, and perform repetitive production tasks that require consistency, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

We're looking for dependable people who take pride in a hard day's work, enjoy staying busy, and are comfortable working with their hands. Previous manufacturing experience is helpful, but what matters most is reliability, a willingness to learn, and the ability to keep up in a busy production environment.

Compensation

Shift

We're hiring for multiple positions across day and night shifts:

• Day Shift: 12-hour shifts on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule
• Night Shift: 12-hour shifts on a rotating 4-on / 4-off schedule

Responsibilities

• Hands-On Production: Perform repetitive manufacturing tasks, including assembling, handling, processing, and preparing products throughout the production cycle.
• Tools & Equipment: Use basic hand tools, power tools, and production equipment to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Quality Checks: Inspect manufactured components and finished products for defects, damage, and other quality concerns.
• Packaging & Finishing: Label, wrap, package, stack, and prepare finished products for the next stage of production or shipment.
• Material Handling: Regularly lift, carry, load, unload, and move materials and products throughout the manufacturing area.
• Cross-Training: Learn additional production processes, equipment, and workstations as your skills develop.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding, hands-on work throughout a 12-hour shift
• Comfortable standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and moving materials repeatedly
• Ability to stay focused and maintain a consistent pace while performing repetitive tasks
• Comfortable using basic hand tools, power tools, and production equipment
• Willingness to learn new skills, follow instructions, and take on additional responsibilities

Previous manufacturing, general labor, construction, warehouse, or other hands-on experience is a plus, but not required. We're looking for people who are ready to work hard, learn new skills, and grow with the company.
