Job summary

Seneca Foods Corporation in Baraboo, WI is seeking General Laborers for 12-hour shifts (7am–7pm or 7pm–7am) in a manufacturing environment. Entry level positions with opportunities for advancement through internal bidding and plant roles such as forklift maintenance operators and inspectors.

Responsibilities include relieving breaks on palletizer and bander machines, sorting cans and plate for defects, keeping a clean, safe work area, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness and ability to work and function in a team environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbal.
• Ability to work with all levels of the organization.

General Labor is an entry level position, but advancement opportunities are typically available within the first couple months and will continue throughout employment. Jobs within the plant such as forklift, maintainers, operators and inspection are all filled through an internal bidding process.

Assigned General Laborer job duties learn to operate various machines and/or equipment in a manufacturing environment. Offering 12 hour shifts, 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am.

You must be available to work all shifts.
