Job summary

Cheshire Public Schools is seeking a part-time Food Service Assistant for Dodd Middle School. The role involves cooking, preparation, serving and storage of food, with strict adherence to safety and sanitation procedures.

The position reports to the Kitchen Manager, Operations Manager and Director of Food & Nutrition Services. Hours are 5 per day, with compensation starting at $18.50+ per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Qualified Food Operator Sanitation Certified preferred.
• Food Service Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cooking, preparation, serving and storage of food in the school cafeteria.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation procedures during all food handling activities.
• Work under the supervision of the Kitchen Manager, Operations Manager and Director of Food & Nutrition Services.
• Support daily operations at Dodd Middle School.
