Job summary

Unicorr Packaging Group in North Haven, CT is hiring for a full-time, in-person Manufacturing Operator. You will set up machines at the start of shifts, monitor performance, perform preventive maintenance, and help ensure product quality.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to read technical manuals and tape measures, and strong problem-solving and multitasking skills. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for training and growth.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines at the beginning of shift to ensure proper working order.
• Train on 1st shift before transferring to another shift.
• Maintain and clean machines before and after each shift.
• Monitor machines during shift to ensure running effectively.
• Troubleshoot problems as necessary.
• Perform regular and preventative maintenance.
• Perform random tests to ensure accuracy.
• Perform safety checks.
• Ensure that machines are producing quality products.
