Job Opportunity: General Handyman

Lane Valente Industries, a leading international construction and facility maintenance company with offices across the U.S. and Canada, is seeking a talented and dedicated General Handyman for full-time commercial construction projects nationwide. This role involves travel across the United States and requires a commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate must be proficient in the following skills:

• Carpentry: partition framing, metal/wood studs, basic cabinetry/countertops, doors, and windows installation
• Painting: interior and exterior painting
• Flooring: installation of VCT, LVT, tiles, carpet squares, and cove base

Basic knowledge in the following areas is also desirable:

• Plumbing: sink, faucet, toilet replacement/installation, basic drainage and water lines (licensed plumbers encouraged to apply)
• Electrical: light fixtures, switches, outlets installation, basic data connections, minor electrical diagnostics (licensed electricians encouraged to apply)
• HVAC: refrigeration knowledge

Essential Functions

• Performing commercial renovations and build-outs
• Maintaining basic computer skills
• Following OSHA safety requirements
• Communicating effectively with customers and building relationships
• Providing detailed repair reports, including measurements, photos, and recommendations
• Working overtime and on-call as needed
• Traveling and working overnight shifts across the U.S. as required
