Job summary

Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, part of Trinity Health, seeks a general gastroenterologist to join a collegial team of three physicians and three PAs providing GI services in ambulatory and inpatient settings. The Endoscopy suite supports EUS/ERCP with stenting, and a GERD clinic with manometry and Bravo studies.

The role features 100% consult service, responsible for outpatient and inpatient coverage, with a streamlined ramp-up and robust support from hospital leadership and care teams.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited program.
• Completion of a certified residency program.
• Board certified or eligible in gastroenterology.

Responsibilities

• Provide general gastroenterology care in ambulatory and inpatient settings.
• Participate in endoscopy services and consultation workflows.
• Collaborate with hospitalists and GI team for patient care.
