Job summary

Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, part of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking a general gastroenterologist to join a collegial group of providers—three physicians and three physician assistants—providing general gastroenterology services in ambulatory and inpatient settings. The endoscopy suite supports EUS and ERCP with stenting capability, plus GERD clinic capabilities and manometry studies on site.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited program.
• Completion of certified residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Provide general GI services in ambulatory and inpatient settings.
• Support endoscopy procedures in a dedicated suite with EUS/ERCP capability.
• Collaborate with hospitalists and GI team for consults and patient care.
• Contribute to a collegial group consisting of physicians and PAs.
