Job summary

Supreme Investments LLC in Nebraska is hiring for a full-time farmworker to build, repair and maintain cattle fences and winter livestock areas. The role requires operating feed wagons, tractors and other farm equipment to feed and care for cattle during winter, with a schedule from 8:00 A.M.

to 5:00 P.M., 60 hours per week at a wage of 19.22 USD per hour. You will monitor herd health, assist with calving, and help with branding and processing.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair and maintain cattle fences and winter livestock areas.
• Operate feed wagons, feed trucks, tractors and other farm equipment to distribute feed and care for cattle during winter.
• Check cattle, water supplies and herd health; monitor calving and assist births as required.
• Herd, move, catch, weigh and load cattle using 4-wheelers and other livestock-handling equipment; assist with processing and branding cows and calves.
• Maintain and repair farm vehicles, machinery and cattle-handling equipment; perform general winter maintenance tasks.

Perform other general duties related to the care, handling and management of cattle and the farm operation.
