Touro College of Dental Medicine in Hawthorne seeks part-time General Faculty to supervise student clinicians and deliver direct patient care while mentoring students. Part-time role with a 19-hour weekly schedule and varied shifts.
Responsibilities include guiding student-patient interactions, reviewing rosters, monitoring performance, and upholding professional standards in a clinical education setting.
Reporting directly to the Clinical Practice Leader (CPL) at the Touro College of Dental Medicine's clinic with a dotted line to the Director of Clinical Education, and the Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs Associate Professor of Dental Medicine. Clinical faculty are responsible for direct patient care and mentoring/teaching students.
Assist the CPL in the review within their clinical practice of each student's performance related to:
Maintaining calibration as determined by the Director of Clinical Education as well as:
