Job summary

Florida Dental As is seeking a licensed general dentist to provide comprehensive dental care, diagnose and treat diseases of teeth and gums, and educate patients on oral health. The role involves performing routine procedures, coordinating with labs, and maintaining safety standards.

You will participate in team huddles and meetings, ensure compliance with OSHA and infection-control protocols, and contribute to quality patient care in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree and active licensure in the practicing state or ability to obtain licensure.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
• GPR or AEGD residency completion is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients to determine the nature of the condition, using x-rays and diagnostic procedures.
• Clean, fill, extract and replace teeth using dental instruments and appliances.
• Provide preventive dental services and educate patients on oral hygiene.
• Coordinate laboratory services for the dental office.
• Adhere to safety protocols including OSHA and bloodborne pathogen requirements.
• Participate in morning huddles, chart reviews and routine office meetings.
• All other duties permitted under state laws and regulations.
