Job summary

Florida Dental As in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a licensed general dentist to provide comprehensive dental care, diagnose and treat diseases of teeth and gums.

You will perform exams, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and preventive education, coordinate labs, and uphold OSHA safety standards. This role requires DDS or DMD and active licensure; BLS/CPR certification is required, GPR/AEGD preferred.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree; active licensure in state or ability to obtain licensure upon graduation.
• Current BLS and CPR certification.
• Completion of a GPR or AEGD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients to determine the nature of the condition; diagnose and treat oral diseases.
• Perform general dentistry procedures: clean, fill, extract, and replace teeth using instruments and tools.
• Provide preventive dental services and education on oral hygiene.
• Coordinate laboratory services for the dental office.
• Adhere to safety protocols including OSHA/bloodborne pathogen requirements.
• Participate in morning huddles, chart reviews and routine meetings.
• All other duties allowed under applicable state laws and regulations.
