Job summary

Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers in Pittsburgh is seeking a part-time General Dentist to join our pediatric-focused surgical team. You will provide dental care within a pediatric ambulatory surgery center, collaborating with anesthesiologists, nurses, and dental staff to deliver safe, high-quality care.

The ideal candidate is a licensed General Dentist with experience with pediatric patients, holds BLS (and PALS or willingness to obtain within 6 months), and thrives in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Licensed General Dentist with pediatric experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current PALS certification or able to acquire within 6 months of start date.
• Strong teamwork in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the surgical team to provide safe, efficient quality care for each patient.
• Treat about seven pediatric patients in a typical OR day.
• Perform restorative care focusing on SSCs, pulpotomies and exodontia.

About You

You are a licensed General Dentist (GP) with a passion for providing excellent care to your patients. You have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude, and you enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You work well with the other members of your surgical team, and you desire to contribute to a strong culture where the entire team works together for the good of each patient.

YOU WILL

• Partner with the surgical team to provide safe, efficient quality care for each patient
• Treat approximately seven pediatric patients in a typical OR day
• Perform various restorative care primarily focusing on posterior stainless-steel crowns (SSCs), anterior esthetic (veneered) SSCs, pulpotomies, and exodontia

Requirements + Qualifications

• Current state dental license
• Significant experience working with pediatric patients
• Current BLS certification
• Current PALS certification, or can acquire within 6 months of start date

Preferred

• Advanced dentistry training (AEGD or GPR)
• Familiarity with American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry policies and best practices
