Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Active New York dental license in good standing.
• Previous Medicaid experience required.
• Strong comprehensive general dentistry skills.
• Confidence in treatment planning for a diverse patient population.
• Strong patient communication and case-presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively within an established clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive exams, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Provide restorative dentistry, including fillings, crowns, and bridges.
• Perform extractions and endodontic treatment based on experience and clinical comfort.
• Provide emergency dental care.
• Educate patients about diagnoses, treatment options, and recommended care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Work collaboratively with hygienists, dental assistants, specialists, and practice leadership.
• Maintain efficient patient flow while providing quality, patient-centered care.
