Job summary

42 North Dental in Charlotte, MI is seeking a full-time General Dentist to lead the patient experience from exam to treatment. The position offers a daily schedule 8AM-5PM, with a guaranteed pay or a 36% collections option up to that cap.

Responsibilities include promoting oral health, diagnosing diseases, and creating comprehensive treatment plans for patients. In-office specialties include endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education.
