Job summary
42 North Dental in Charlotte, MI is seeking a full-time General Dentist to manage the full patient experience from initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.
The position offers a daily schedule of Monday–Thursday, 8 AM–5 PM, with a daily guarantee or up to 36% of collections and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401K, and CE opportunities.
Qualifications
- DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program
- Current state license to practice dentistry
- Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
- Proof of malpractice insurance
- Current BLS or CPR certification
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention
- Diagnose oral diseases
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
- Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
- Review treatment plan options with patients
- Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
- Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
- Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
- Provide restorative and preventive dental care
- Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
- Maintain high standards of care and ethics
- Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education
