Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a General Dentist to join the Fredericksburg VA Health Care Center.

You will provide a full range of professional dental procedures to Veterans, covering prevention, restorative, and corrective care as part of a comprehensive dental program. The role requires proficiency in general dentistry, radiographic exams, anesthesia administration, prosthodontics, endodontics, and surgical procedures as needed, with a schedule Monday through Friday in a

Qualifications

Perform a full range of professional dental procedures.
Diagnose dental diseases and health problems requiring standard care.
Proficient in routine to complex restorative and preventive measures.

Responsibilities

Make oral and radiographic examinations of the oral cavity and surrounding tissues.
Diagnose pathological or irregular oral conditions.
Administer local anesthesia.
Perform routine and complex restoration of teeth.
Perform extractions and alveoloplasty.
Perform removable and fixed prosthodontics including implants.
Perform endodontic procedures on single and multi-canal teeth.
Work Monday to Friday at the Fredericksburg VA Health Care Center.
