Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a general dentist to join our patient-focused team. This role offers flexible scheduling (part-time or full-time) and the opportunity to treat a diverse caseload with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will diagnose, create and discuss treatment plans, maintain comprehensive records, and uphold the highest standards of care and ethics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patient records.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
