Job summary

42North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a dentist to join our patient-centered practice. You will guide the entire clinical patient experience from initial exam to completion of treatment, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role supports 2-5 days per week, 8 AM–5 PM, with compensation up to 36% of collections and a path to unlimited earning potential. We offer comprehensive benefits and ongoing CE opportunities.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education.
