Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a licensed dentist to join our practice in Torrington, CT. You will manage the full patient experience from exam to treatment, with in-office services spanning periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Choose from part-time or full-time schedules (8 AM–5 PM, 2–5 days per week) and earn an up-to 36% collections. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401K, and CE opportunities through Harvard rounds network.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry in the relevant state.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standards of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
