Job summary
Open Door Community Health Centers is seeking a General Dentist to join the Burre Dental Center in Eureka, CA. You will deliver full-scope general dentistry, including preventive, diagnostic, restorative, and urgent care, while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to improve oral health in a community-focused setting.
The role offers an outpatient, work‑life balanced environment with modern equipment, mentorship, and opportunities for leadership.
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
- Completion of an accredited General Practice Residency (GPR) or Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program preferred.
- Two to five years of clinical experience preferred, particularly in community health, rural practice, or caring for underserved populations.
- CAP-exempt visa sponsorship available.
- Optional one-year AEGD Residency Program with NYU Langone available with high retention.
Responsibilities
- Provide preventive, diagnostic, restorative, and urgent dental care for patients of all ages.
- Work with interdisciplinary team to address social, behavioral, and medical factors impacting oral health and access to care.
