Job summary

42North Dental in Torrington, CT seeks a General Dentist (part-time or full-time) to lead the patient experience from first exam to delivery of care. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

2–5 days/week, 8am–5pm, with compensation up to 36% of collections and a strong earning potential. The practice offers health insurance, dental/vision, 401(k), CE opportunities, and generous benefits, including exclusive LifeMart discounts and HSA options.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' dental records and medical history.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments through continuing education.
