42 North Dental, a dentist-led practice, seeks a qualified General Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care in Torrington, CT. You will manage exams, diagnoses, and treatment plans, while delivering high-quality patient experiences in a collaborative environment.

The role covers preventive, restorative, orthodontic and endodontic services, with opportunities for advanced procedures in periodontics, oral surgery, and more. Earn up to 36% and participate in CE events through Harvard rounds.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current license to practice dentistry in the state.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment options with patients
• Maintain and update patient records
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth/jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education
