Job summary

Toiyabe Indian Health Project seeks a licensed dentist to provide comprehensive dental care in a clinic setting. You will perform routine procedures, coordinate care, and ensure high standards of patient service.

You will also supervise dental support staff, participate in policy development, maintain licenses, and stay updated on dental techniques relevant to American Indian health programs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited U.S. dental school.
• One-year experience in private or clinical practice.
• Current DEA and radiation license.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within three months of hire.
• Bi-Lingual/Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine dental services: General restorative procedures, crown & bridge, removable prosthetics, endodontics, oral surgery.
• Indirectly supervise dental support staff with Clinic Manager and Dental Office Manager.
• Maintain communication with dental patients, staff, and supervisors.
• Assist in development and implementation of dental policies and procedures.
• Keep current on new techniques and best practices in dentistry.
