Job summary

Community Health Center in Chicago, IL is seeking an experienced General Dentist to join a growing, community-focused dental clinic. The role encompasses preventive care, restorative dentistry, and diverse procedures for patients of all ages, with a focus on education and access to care.

Qualified candidates will have a DDS/DMD, an active Illinois license, pediatric experience, CPR/BLS, and strong diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Active, unrestricted Illinois dental license.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
• Pediatric dental experience required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong clinical, diagnostic, and treatment-planning skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
• Experience with cosmetic dentistry or dental implants is a plus.
• FQHC or community health setting experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general dentistry to a diverse patient population, including children and adults.
• Perform routine examinations, preventive care, fillings, crowns, bridges, extractions, and root canals.
• Deliver restorative and cosmetic procedures and participate in diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Collaborate with hygienists, assistants, and other professionals in a team-based setting.
• Educate patients and families on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options.
