Job summary

Greater Family Health is seeking a Dentist (new grads welcome) to provide high-quality clinical oral health care to patients across multiple Chicagoland sites, including Elgin. You’ll diagnose, plan, and treat dental conditions, interpret X-rays, administer anesthetics, and lead cooperative staff teams in a compliant, patient-centered environment.

We value strong communication, solid charting, and commitment to community health.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree required and credentialing to obtain full privileges.
• Excellent writing and communication skills are essential for patient and team interactions.
• Working knowledge of PC-based software applications.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing training and quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose oral diseases and create comprehensive treatment plans.
• Interpret dental X-rays and diagnostic tests to guide care.
• Administer anesthetics safely and monitor patient status.
• Perform preventive, restorative and select surgical procedures.
• Provide leadership, supervision and training to dental staff as needed.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies and procedures.
