Job summary

42 North Dental in Saginaw, MI is seeking a full-time General Dentist to oversee the patient experience from the initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care, with in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

The position offers a daily guarantee or percentage of collections up to 36%, plus benefits such as health insurance, dental and vision coverage, 401K with financial assistance, and opportunities to attend CE events through Harvard Rounds

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain high standard of care and professionalism
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education
