Job summary

42 North Dental in Saginaw, MI is seeking a full-time General Dentist to provide comprehensive patient care with a daily guarantee or a percentage of collections up to 36%. You will lead exams, diagnosis and treatment planning, and deliver in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role supports ongoing education, a supportive team, and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education.
