The General Dentist will provide dental care for infants, children adults, and elderly patients, offering advice and guidance on taking care of teeth and gums and diet choices that affect oral health.

  • Diagnose and treat disease, injury, malformations of teeth and gums and related oral structures by performing duties below.
  • Review the patient’s medical/dental history at every visit and manage with a comprehensive evaluation of the patient’s general health.
  • Address all contra-indications pertaining to treatment and identify patient’s reason for visit.
  • Examine and assess the patient.
  • Chart all pathologic conditions and report these to the patient.
  • Prescribe medicine for patients as needed.
  • Document all treatment provided in a timely manner and in accordance with Noble Clinics policy and procedures and sign the patient record.
  • Design and make dentures or other appliances to replace missing or diseased teeth.
  • When necessary, clean teeth and provide preventive dental care including educating patients in oral and dental hygiene and applying fluoride and sealants to teeth as appropriate.
  • As a representative of Noble Clinics and its patients, collaborate with other professionals in the community and area regarding consultations and/or referral of Noble Clinics patients needing care beyond the scope of Noble Clinics’ dental service.
  • Work with other Noble Clinics professional staff for consultation and/or referral of patients and clients for treatment and services (medical or dental) within and outside the organization.
  • Participate in on-call arrangements determined by Noble Clinics.
  • Assist the Chief Dental Officer and Dental Practice Manager in monitoring and directing clinical performance of dental hygienists and dental assistants.
  • Supervise taking of x-rays and monitor quality/procedure for x-rays and other equipment operation and procedures by assistants and recommend improvements when needed.
  • Perform quality clinical and radiographic evaluations to diagnose and treat diseases.
  • Assist in assuring practices are in accord with OSHA guidelines and standards and assure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding confidentiality of patient information.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and code of conduct in performing all job duties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to lead effectively by motivating assigned team, as well as the ability to coach, mentor and develop employees.

Education, License, And Experience Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited school of dentistry and possession of either a D.D.S or D.M.D degree.
  • Graduate residency in pediatric dentistry and/or a master’s degree in public health dentistry is desirable.
  • Licensed and able to maintain licensure to practice dentistry in the State of Wisconsin.
  • Must possess prescribing privileges and DEA registration.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
