Responsibilities

• Provide general dentistry including preventive care, diagnosis, treatment planning, and referrals.
• Perform restorative dentistry, oral surgery, periodontics, endodontics and prosthodontics as needed.
• Maintain complete and legible patient records and comply with OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
• Stay updated on ICD diagnostic and billing codes.

GENERAL PURPOSE:The Dentist is responsible for providing quality dental care for Ampla Health patients. Along with treating dental patient’s diseases, a strong emphasis shall be placed on the education and prevention of oral disease processes.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:1) Practices general dentistry including:a. Preventive care – OHI, sealants, etc.b. Diagnosis- treatment plans, referrals, follow-upsc. Restorative dentistryd. Oral surgerye. Periodonticsf. Endodonticsg.
