Job summary

Dentologie, a multi-location dental practice in Chicago, seeks a full-time General Dentist to start this October. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience and will join a vibrant, patient- and employee-focused team.

Position includes a production-based pay model (32.5% adjusted net production), a $5,000 signing bonus for those with at least 1 year of experience, and an annual first-year earnings estimate around $254,000. Flexible development and training opportunities are offered.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients and develop comprehensive treatment plans for better dental hygiene and restorative outcomes.

• Prescribe medications as needed and utilize dental tools to examine and treat teeth.
• Maintain accurate patient records and coordinate with the team to deliver outstanding care.
• Diagnose oral diseases and monitor systemic manifestations; perform follow-ups via phone or email.

The Gold Coast Dentologie practice (digital, nine ops) is seeking a talented full-time General Dentist to start this October (at least one year of practice experience required).

The ideal dentist candidate is a skilled provider focused on providing excellent comprehensive dentistry and is a positive impact to the employee culture! • Pay: 32.5% adjusted net production (w/initial daily rate)

Technology and equipment:

• Dentrix Ascend (Cloud Based)
• 2D: Dexis sensors. 3D: Dexis OP3D
• Scanning: iTero 5D Plus at all locations
• Milling: Glidewell FastMill (Zirconia and hybrid options). 3D Printing: Glidewell FastPrint (Nightguards, retainers, etc)
• Chairs: DCI 5 series with built in electric motor for both restorative and endodontic procedures. Piezos built into each chair along with backup carts
• Restorative materials: Mostly Kerr brand. Burs: Kerr/Colten/SS White
• Clear Aligner brand: Invisalign. All retainers are exclusively Vivera

Responsibilities:

• Provide consultation with patients and discuss and treat dental concerns, perform regular cleanings and other preventative procedures, and establish a comprehensive treatment plan for better dental hygiene and positive restorative outcomes.
• Perform dental procedures, such as extractions, root canals, and filling cavities
  • Correct bite issues and overcrowding
  • Apply preventative measures for teeth, such as sealants or whiteners
  • Prescribe medications such as pain medications or antibiotics
  • Utilize tools such as drills, probes, brushes, to examine and treat teeth
• Keep accurate records relating to the patient's oral health and the tx rendered to them
• Manage positively and communicate with team to provide outstanding care to patients
• Diagnose, tx plan, and diagnose oral disease and oral manifestation of systemic diseases.
• Routine follow-up with patients whom you've provided treatment via phone or email.
• Manage both patient experiences and patient expectations to create a positive outcome

Qualifications:

• Active IL dental license (and malpractice insurance)
• Willingness to comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding dental and healthcare
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to keep detailed records
• Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools, thorough tx planning skills.
• Strong inter-personal and leadership qualities.
• Ability to manage dental complications for any procedure performed on a patient.
• Implant placement/advanced certification if placing implants or performing specialty work
• Ability to adapt to Dentologie's learning environment and be willing to accept constructive feedback and guidance - eager to further enhance your skillset.
