Job summary

Dentologie's West Loop practice in Chicago is seeking a full-time General Dentist to start this October, with at least one year of practice experience. You will provide comprehensive dentistry and contribute to an amazing patient and employee experience in a modern, collaborative setting.

We offer a production-based pay model (32.5% adjusted net), a $5,000 signing bonus (for 1+ year experience), potential annual earnings around $254,000, and generous benefits including school loan relief,

Qualifications

• Active IL dental license and malpractice insurance.
• Willingness to comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding dental care.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with detailed records.
• Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and treatment planning.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership qualities.
• Ability to manage dental complications for any procedure performed.
• Implant placement/advanced certification if placing implants.
• Adaptable to Dentologie's learning environment and open to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation with patients, discuss and treat dental concerns, perform regular cleanings and establish comprehensive treatment plans.
• Perform dental procedures such as extractions, root canals, and fillings.
• Correct bite issues and overcrowding; apply sealants or whiteners; prescribe medications.
• Utilize drills, probes, brushes to examine and treat teeth.
• Keep accurate records of patient oral health and procedures; communicate with team to deliver outstanding care.
• Diagnose oral diseases and plan treatments; follow up with patients via phone or email.
• Manage patient experiences and expectations to achieve positive outcomes.

Job description

The West Loop Dentologie practice (digital, nine ops) is seeking a talented full-time General Dentist to start this October (at least one year of practice experience required).

The ideal dentist candidate is a skilled provider focused on providing excellent comprehensive dentistry and is a positive impact to the employee culture! What we offer you:

• Pay:32.5%adjusted net production (w/initial daily rate)
  • Signing bonus:$5,000.00* (least 1 year experience)
  • Annual earnings of$254,000(avg, 1st year)
  • School Loan Relief (Annually):$4,000 paid/year directly toward your student loans.

Technology and equipment:

• Dentrix Ascend (Cloud Based)
• 2D: Dexis sensors. 3D: Dexis OP3D
• Scanning: iTero 5D Plus at all locations.
• Milling: Glidewell FastMill (Zirconia and hybrid options). 3D Printing: Glidewell FastPrint (Nightguards, retainers, etc)
• Chairs: DCI 5 series with built in electric motor for both restorative and endodontic procedures. Piezos built intoeach chair along with backup carts
• Restorative materials: Mostly Kerr brand. Burs: Kerr/Colten/SS White
• Clear Aligner brand: Invisalign. All retainers are exclusively Vivera

Responsibilities:

• Provide consultation with patients and discuss and treat dental concerns, perform regular cleanings and other preventative procedures, and establish a comprehensive treatment plan for better dental hygiene and positive restorative outcomes.
• Perform dental procedures, such as extractions, root canals, and filling cavities.
  • Correct bite issues and overcrowding.
  • Apply preventative measures for teeth, such as sealants or whiteners.
  • Prescribe medications such as pain medications or antibiotics.
  • Utilize tools such as drills, probes, brushes, to examine and treat teeth.
• Keep accurate records relating to the patient's oral health and the tx rendered to them.
• Manage positively and communicate with team to provide outstanding care to patients.
• Diagnose, tx plan, and diagnose oral disease and oral manifestation of systemic diseases.
• Routinefollow-upwith patients whom you’ve provided treatment via phone or email.
• Manage both patient experiences and patient expectations to create a positive outcome.

• Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools, thorough tx planning skills.

• Implant placement/advanced certification if placing implants or performing specialty work.
