Job summary
Ronald C Mamrick DDS is hiring a dental assistant in Midlothian, VA for a general practice. Work Mon-Thu, 8 AM–5 PM with a 1–2 hour daily lunch break; no weekend shifts. Qualifications
- License & Certification: Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant.
- Software Experience: Dentrix.
- Years of Professional Experience: 1+ years of practice.
Responsibilities
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Sterilize dental instruments and prepare treatment rooms before and after patient appointments.
- Prepare patients for dental procedures by ensuring comfort and explaining what to expect.
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed and ensure all images are of diagnostic quality.
- Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry.
