Qualifications

• J.D. degree with bar admission in good standing (Maryland preferred).
• Significant experience advising nonprofit organizations, labor and employment law, governance.
• Strong governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance expertise.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary in-house legal adviser on governance, operations and strategic initiatives.
• Lead risk management, compliance programs, and privacy considerations across affiliates.
• Develop litigation strategy and manage external counsel and investigations.
• Advise on contracts, grants, and governance disclosures; support board matters.
