Job summary

Stedi seeks an experienced General Counsel to own regulatory and legal strategy as the company scales in the healthcare clearinghouse space. You will shape defensive and offensive legal strategies, manage contracts, disputes, compliance, IP, and corporate governance, and guide fundraising efforts.

You will partner with the CEO and board to align legal strategy with business objectives, accelerate deals, and remove blockers in a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in law firms and fast-paced in-house roles.
• Senior legal leadership experience with litigations and disputes in high-growth environments.
• Deep healthcare experience or experience in another highly regulated industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop regulatory and legal strategy to deepen relationships with payers and navigate market access.
• Lead enforcement matters and defend Stedi's interests to shape market outcomes.
• Build a legal framework for data products operating in complex regulatory areas.
