The New Hampshire Liquor Commission, embedded at its Concord headquarters, seeks a General Counsel to provide legal analysis, strategic counsel, and guidance across agency matters. The role involves drafting and advising on policies, contracts, and employment law, with potential litigation support.

Required is a Juris Doctor from an accredited school and active NH Bar membership in good standing, plus at least 5.5 years of active practice. Salary is competitive with excellent benefits.

Formación

• JD required from an accredited law school.
• 5.5 years of active law practice experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide legal analysis and strategic counsel on matters including legislative rulemaking, agency policies, RSA 91-A requests, contracts and employment law.
• Assist with litigation matters and represent the Commission in administrative personnel and board of claims proceedings.
• Demonstrate excellent analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, oral advocacy and writing skills.
