The General Counsel is responsible for providing and overseeing legal strategy and support for the Company’s business activities. This includes a focus on contracts, corporate governance, human resources, litigation management, regulatory law (MSHA, OSHA, EPA, etc.), and managing external counsel. The position also supports environmental permitting, communications, and government relations.
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Directly supervises all activities of the Legal Department, executing supervisory responsibilities for direct reports in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

The salary range for this role is between $212,000 and $250,000 annually, with eligibility for a monthly incentive program.
