Job summary

SustainableHR is seeking a Property Rehabilitation Lead for project-based, full-time assignments across various project sites. You will lead a crew, oversee residential rehab tasks, coordinate multiple trades, and ensure safety and quality from start to finish on each property.

This role offers $35–45/hour DOE, weekly pay, overtime pay, and guaranteed hours with dedicated 3+ month projects. If you take pride in craftsmanship and can keep crews aligned and productive, we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading residential renovation or rehabilitation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of residential construction practices.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a crew.
  • Experience coordinating multiple trades.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
  • Own hand tools (company equipment may be available).
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Complete residential property rehabilitation projects from start to finish.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and labor crews.
  • Perform or oversee demolition, framing, drywall, flooring, painting, finish carpentry, and general repairs.
  • Ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards.
  • Read and interpret project scopes, plans, and specifications.
  • Order and manage materials as needed.
  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites.
  • Communicate project progress and address challenges proactively.
  • Complete punch list items and final project walkthroughs.

About the Opportunity

A client of ours is looking for an experienced Property Rehabilitation Crew Lead who wants something different than chasing the next project.

Instead of constantly bidding jobs or worrying about where the next paycheck comes from, you'll work on dedicated property rehabilitation assignments with consistent weekly pay and the opportunity for long-term engagements. Our client is seeking a hands on contractorfor an initial 3-month assignment, with additional projects expected based on project needs.

Preferred Qualifications
