About The Role

The General Construction Superintendent is a key leader at Ernest, responsible for guiding the on-site team to complete projects on schedule while upholding high standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing and successfully completing new construction projects across Florida.

What You'll Do

1. Manage, evaluate, and train field project team members.
2. Provide remote supervision to on-site technicians.
3. Plan, organize, and oversee production of contracted work.
4. Build and maintain relationships with customers, inspectors, and other trades.
5. Coordinate production activities and attend meetings with other trades and the general contractor to resolve conflicts and ensure customer satisfaction.
6. Ensure all installations comply with quality and industry standards.
7. Manage materials and personnel to meet project schedules.
8. Adhere to Ernest's standards for quality, safety, and best practices.

What You'll Need

1. At least 10 years of experience managing MEP crews and overseeing multimillion-dollar residential projects as a field supervisor.
2. Ability to de-escalate situations and communicate effectively with customers.
3. Experience providing supervision remotely via phone or virtual meetings.
4. Extensive knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing codes.
5. Valid driver's license.
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
7. Project management experience.
8. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or G Suite.
