Job summary

Penske is recruiting CDL Class A truck drivers for full-time roles in Valdosta, GA. Earn $0.65 per mile with an average of $1,300–$1,600 per week. All no-touch freight, mostly drop & hook, with weekly home time and a comprehensive benefits package.

Trucks are late model and Penske-maintained, equipped with safety cameras. Expect ongoing training and nationwide opportunities, with Fridays pay and a strong safety record.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required and domiciled in the U.S.
• DOT medical card (non-excepted interstate) required
• 1–2 years tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR with two or fewer moving violations/accidents
• Follow all laws, regulations and agency rules
• Regular, predictable, full attendance essential
• English language proficiency per federal law
• Background, education, criminal history checks and drug screening required
• DOT safety-sensitive position with safety responsibilities

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers

• $0.65 per mile, $1300 to $1600 per week average pay
• Additional utilization bonus based on miles driven
• All no touch freight, mostly drop & hook

You will drive:

• Late model, Penske-maintained trucks
• Best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety
• Equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to help ensure safety for all

What you will do:

• Dry Van Loads comprised of Freight of All Kinds (FAK), with a mixture of live load/unload and drop & hook freight

Schedule:

• Home weekly, most weekends

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
