Overview

• Candidates should have demonstrated experience with all phases of general commercial litigation, including appeals, and be able to drive matters from inception to conclusion.
• Handles the high-level and strategic aspects of multiple legal matters simultaneously at different stages of progression.
• Supports and advances existing client relationships and assists in the generation of business through group and individual efforts.
• Preferred litigation experience includes both traditional and electronic discovery, preparation for and taking depositions, motion drafting, and active participation in hearings and trial, with significant courtroom experience (state and/or federal) including appeals.
• Demonstrated ability to manage matters and to delegate to and manage junior associates is preferred.
• Admission in the state of Illinois is a plus.
• Travel is generally less than 10%, however, it is case specific and may, at times, involve more.
