Job summary

Traders Point Christian Schools in Whitestown, IN seeks general coaching candidates to help develop skill-building opportunities and foster a Christ-centered athletic program. Located on the northwest side of Indianapolis, the school serves about 700 students across Grades 5-12 and participates in IISL athletics.

Ideal candidates have coaching or playing experience, a track record of building programs, and knowledge of IHSAA rules.

Qualifications

Grades 5-8 Sports compete in the IISL (Indianapolis Independent School League)

General Responsibilities: 1) developing appropriate skill building opportunities for each developmental

level, 2) participating collegially in meetings and initiatives of the athletics department, 3) taking an

active role in the life of the school community, especially the co-curricular events of students, and 4)

other duties as directed by athletic director within the scope of experience and competence to

complement the coaching role.

As a coach at TPCS, you are expected to instruct and model important religious functions that include Bible instruction, prayer, participation in weekly chapels, and other religious duties. At TPCS, your role as a coach involves a pastoral element whereby through example and direct instruction, you are acting as a minister of our Christian faith.
