Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a General Cleaner to maintain clean, sanitary offices and shared spaces within an active refinery environment. You will clean administrative areas, restrooms, breakrooms, and conference rooms while adhering to site safety rules.

Ideally, applicants are dependable, safety-minded, and capable of working independently or as part of a team. The role requires following strict access procedures and wearing designated PPE as required.

The General Cleaner is responsible for maintaining clean, sanitary, and professional office and shared spaces within a refinery facility. This position primarily focuses on administrative buildings, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, conference rooms, hallways, and other designated common areas. While this is not an industrial process-equipment cleaning position, employees will be working within an active refinery environment and must consistently follow all site-specific safety, security, and access requirements. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, comfortable working in an industrial environment, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and professional workplace.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesClean and maintain offices, administrative areas, conference rooms, and reception areasSweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors according to established proceduresEmpty trash and recycling containers and replace linersClean, disinfect, and restock restroomsClean and maintain employee breakrooms, kitchens, and common areasWipe and disinfect tables, counters, doors, handles, and other high-touch surfacesDust furniture, fixtures, windowsills, and other surfacesClean interior glass, doors, and designated windowsReplenish soap, paper products, and other restroom and breakroom suppliesSpot-clean walls, doors, and other surfaces as neededMaintain janitorial closets, equipment, and supplies in a clean and organized conditionProperly use and store cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety proceduresIdentify and report spills, maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or damaged equipmentFollow assigned cleaning schedules and complete required areas within established timeframesFollow all refinery security, access, safety, and emergency proceduresWear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when entering designated areasAttend required site-specific safety training and meetingsPerform other related custodial duties as assignedWork EnvironmentThis position is located inside an active refinery facility.
