Job summary

FCS Services is seeking a reliable Part-time General Cleaner for Shreveport Regional Airport in Shreveport, LA. This 3:30pm–9:30pm shift is a stable role responsible for a variety of cleaning duties to uphold hygiene standards across client facilities.

You will use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely, adhere to safety rules, and support floor technicians. Prior janitorial experience is preferred but not required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize floors, walls, windows, furniture, and fixtures.
• Dust and polish surfaces to maintain a clean appearance.
• Vacuum, sweep and mop hard floors and corners.
• Disinfect restroom fixtures and restock supplies.
• Empty trash and manage waste disposal.
• Monitor supplies and assist floor technicians as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a reliable, full-time General Cleaner to join our team at Shreveport Regional Airport in Shreveport, LA. This is a consistent, stable position where you will play a key role in performing a variety of cleaning duties to uphold the cleanliness and sanitation standards of our clients' premises.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize various surfaces including floors, walls, windows, furniture, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
• Dust surfaces, furniture, and equipment thoroughly and polish surfaces to maintain a clean and attractive appearance.
• Vacuum carpets and rugs; sweep and mop hard surface floors paying attention to corners and hard-to-reach areas.
• Clean and disinfect restroom fixtures including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and countertops; refill dispensers and supplies as needed.
• Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and dispose of waste and recyclables in designated containers.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and restroom amenities to ensure adequate stock for daily tasks.
• Assist floor technicians in floor care duties such as buffing, waxing, and stripping floors as directed by supervisors.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.

Qualifications:

• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Able to be on your feet and physically active throughout your shift.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check.
